In our line of work you rarely get an opportunity to showcase your writing and take the credit for it. Unless you clinch a deal as an in-house writer, get content published on a blog aggregator like Huff Post, or write and promote your own blog, opportunities to flex your authorial muscles are few and far between.

Greetings, budding marketeers! I’ve taken down my Christmas tree and there’s but a few crumbs left of mince pie; it’s time to look forward.
2016 was a baptism of fire for me in terms of digital marketing training; starting a new job in a new place meant that the year was all about being exposed to lots of pieces of software and acclimating to the destination tourism industry (a new venture for me).

I’m sitting here full of ideas after last week’s epic briefing session from Visit Wales. Suitably hosted by North Wales’s second capital of heritage, Caernarfon (naturally I’m biased as Conwy is just a stone’s throw from Stori HQ), the day-long event was intended for local tourism businesses, big and small, to start getting their heads around 2017’s strapline campaign ‘The Year of Legends’.
